Did you know today is National S’mores Day?

This gooey treat has been a longtime camping tradition, that has spun off a number of tasty sweets for both indoor and outdoor fun. The first official s’mores recipe was recorded in the Girl Scout Handbook in 1927.

Ever wondered why it is called a s’more? The original recipes were labeled as Some More.

Whether you are a campfire traditionalist or an experimenter, there are indoor and outdoor recipes for anyone, so celebrate this longstanding tradition with a little marshmallow, chocolate, graham cracker and some heat. Enjoy.
